The defendant objected to the claim, arguing that deepfakes were not covered by copyright protection. However, the court rejected these arguments, emphasizing that this technology is only a processing tool and not a method of creating content, which does not eliminate the need to obtain permission from the copyright owner.
The court decision, issued in a simplified form, obliges Business Analytics to pay compensation and fees in the amount of 13 thousand rubles.
