Hear My Voice Charity Album Tops Russian Streaming Charts

Songs from the Hear My Voice charity compilation rose to the top of streaming lists on Russian services as listeners showed support in real time.

The track Ray of the Golden Sun, a collaboration by Basta, MONA, the group Three Days of Rain, and Vladimir Presnyakov, released on March 29, ranked among the ten most popular songs on VK Music and Yandex Music at the same moment.

Other strong performances included Rhapsody of Love by MACAN and SCIRENA and Blue Eternity by Navai. Proceeds from streaming these tracks were directed to aid victims of the Crocus City Hall incident that occurred on March 22.

Earlier, on March 28, Russian artists released the Hear My Voice album, featuring reinterpretations ofMuslim Magomayev’s songs as a tribute to those affected by the Crocus City Hall tragedy. The incident itself involved a shooting and arson at the Crocus City Hall complex during a concert and shopping area event. Plans for a concert associated with the event had been scheduled at Crocus City Hall.

In reflecting on the project, creators noted that the performances brought together artists from multiple generations to honor widely admired songs. Proponents emphasized that listening to the album translates time spent into tangible aid, with streaming revenues earmarked for victims of the attack.

Initial fundraising figures from the benefit program exceeded 15 million rubles, illustrating strong public engagement with the cause and the power of music as a catalyst for charitable support.
