On 28 May, elections in Alicante Province brought Vox a seat in the Provincial Council, marking the party’s first entry into the regional legislature. The newly elected councilor, Gema Alemán, represents Sant Joan d’Alacant and now stands as Vox’s parliamentary voice within the State House. By choosing not to align with the positions of the People’s Party, PSPV-PSOE, and Compromís, Vox has signaled a deliberate presence in regional governance.
