Every Genshin Impact update introduces a wave of new missions and events, rewarding players with a range of resources and premium items for completing challenges and taking part in activities. This guide covers all limited-time events included in patch 4.6 and lists the materials players can earn for a complete playthrough.
When will update 4.6 be released?
Update 4.6 is scheduled to go live on April 24, 2024. On that same day, the activities described in this guide will become available, with the exception of the final event noted here.
Major rock tour The many colors of life itself in the style of Arataki
Access to this event requires two conditions:
- Reach adventure rank 30;
- Complete the mission Escape from Rito Island.
The event unfolds in three phases:
- Extreme carnival ensemble, a rhythm-based mini-game where players press specific keys in time or hold them down to score points. The closer the timing, the higher the score.
- A trillion pieces of jewelry, a design challenge where participants help Dvorak shape the scenery for his performances. It involves locating objects, defeating foes, and photographing locations.
- Merge melodies, a listening challenge where players recover missing notes in a notebook as melodies play.
Completion of these tasks earns a local premium currency called Tickets to the Multicolour Tour, exchangeable for valuable rewards:
- Access to a four-star character named Goro or a constellation for him if he is already on the team;
- The Horn of the Night Wind musical instrument;
- Source stones;
- Mora;
- Hero experience;
- Adventurer experience;
- Magical and superior enhancement ore;
- Books of Talents covering philosophies and instructions on Frailty, Freedom, Grace, Light, Prosperity, Diligence, Gold, Struggle, and Poetry;
- Crown of the Epiphany;
- Fragments of Nagadus emerald, Shivada jade, Agnidus agate, Varunada lapis lazuli, Vayuda turquoise, Vajrad amethyst, and Prithiva topaz;
- A dish called Rock and Roll Dango Milk.
Applied uses of crystals
This challenge series focuses on eliminating opponents in dungeon settings. It includes several notable features:
- Players can choose crystals that strengthen their warriors during battles;
- Faster mob defeats fill a resonance strength meter, making all allies’ attacks more likely to critically strike;
- Priority is given to Strongmen when selecting targets, as they yield more points than standard enemies.

- Hero experience;
- Magic ore improvement;
- Resources for upgrading weapons.
It is noted that similar tests appeared in updates 3.5 and 2.6.
In the wake of the wind
This is a multiplayer event where strangers can team up to compete. Players can collaborate with friends, but rewards are not granted in that case. Teams are Rebels and Hunters. Rebels try to stay hidden while Hunters seek them out, with a timer approaching zero. Players must repair signal transmitters, use camouflage, deploy distracting beacons, and sometimes rely on temporary invisibility. Hunters can reveal paths to rebels or detect them while in stealth.
If the Rebels win, hidden coins are awarded. These can be exchanged for valuable rewards:
- Source stones;
- Mora;
- Hero experience;
- Magic ore improvement.
Chronicles of the search for a lizard with a special shape
Participation in this event requires two conditions:
- Reach adventure rank 30;
- Complete the quest Song of Dragon Freedom.
Participants take on tasks for the Adventurers’ Guild, typically involving tracking and battling exceptionally strong monsters. Before battles, players can select a power-up that grants an advantage in combat.
- Source stones;

- Magic ore improvement;
- Hero experience;
- Instructions about the Order;
- Holy oil.
Loss of mastery
This is not a dedicated event but offers higher rewards for completing Mastery Dungeon challenges. Participation requires Primordial Resin, and the bonus runs from May 27 to June 3, 2024.
