The Ministry of Education has launched scholarships for the next academic year, presenting important information for students and families who plan to apply. This initiative is a series of financial supports aimed at improving living standards for students and their households while promoting equal opportunity and social inclusion.
Among the measures, a new grant of 400 euros is available for students who require special educational support. This grant assists with general education-related costs and is awarded according to criteria set by the Ministry.
With the 2023 salary adjustment in mind, this could affect the amount received in twelve equal installments over the year.
Scholarships and grants for students with special educational needs
To apply for this support, there is no requirement to meet family income thresholds; however, other conditions apply. The grant is open to students aged 2 and older enrolled in non-university education levels, including Early Childhood Education, Primary, Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate, Basic Education Cycles, Secondary and Higher Vocational Education (FP).
Applicants should note that eligibility does not hinge on family income alone but on meeting the specified criteria for the program.
