Among the supports, a new grant of 400 euros is available for students who require special educational support. This grant helps cover general education related costs and meets the conditions set by the Ministry.

Scholarships and grants for students with special educational needs
To apply for this assistance, there are no family income requirements, though other conditions apply. The grant is available to students aged 2 years and older who are enrolled in non-university education levels, including Early Childhood Education, the Second Cycle, Primary, Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate, Basic Education Cycles, Secondary and Higher Vocational Education (FP).
How long does it take to pay the 200 euro government check?
Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications:

Students with a disability of at least 33 percent or with severe conduct disorders who require special educational support.

Students with severe communication and language impairments linked to special educational needs.

Students with educational needs associated with autism spectrum disorders (including TORCH).

Students with high intellectual capacity in need of special educational support.
