The grant targets students aged 2 and older who are enrolled in non-university education levels, including Early Childhood Education, Primary, Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate, Basic Education Cycles, Secondary Education, and Vocational Education (FP).

How long does the 200 euro government check take to arrive?

Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Students with a documented special educational need due to disability (minimum 33%) or severe behavioral challenges.
  • Students with significant speech and language difficulties linked to special educational needs.
  • Students with special educational needs related to autism spectrum disorders (TORCH).
  • Students with high intellectual potential recognized within the SEN framework.

  • School meal or food allowance: up to 574 euros.
  • School residence allowance: up to 1,795 euros.
  • Weekend travel assistance: up to 442 euros.
  • City transport assistance: up to 308 euros.
  • School supplies support: up to 105 euros for Primary, ESO and Basic Education cycles; other levels may receive up to 204 euros.
  • Pedagogical retraining assistance: up to 913 euros.
  • Language retraining assistance: up to 913 euros.
