The Ministry of Education has launched scholarships for the upcoming school year, delivering essential financial support for students and their families
These programs form a suite of financial aids designed to improve living standards for students and their households while advancing equal opportunity and social inclusion across the education system.
Among the new measures is a 400 euro grant for students who require special educational support. This assistance helps cover general education costs and meets the ministry’s criteria.

Scholarships and grants for students with special educational needs for support
The application for this aid does not require any family income threshold, although other conditions apply. The program targets students aged two and older who are enrolled in non-university education levels, including Early Childhood Education, Primary, Compulsory Secondary Education ESO, Baccalaureate, Basic Education Cycles, Secondary and Higher Vocational Education (FP).
How long does it take to receive the 200 euro government check?
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:

Students with a disability of at least 33 percent or serious behavioral disorders related to special educational needs.

Students with severe communication and language impairments associated with special educational needs.

Students with special needs related to autism spectrum disorders (TORCH).

Students with high intellectual capacity in the context of special educational needs.
