When passing Alan Wake 2 you will encounter stuffed deer. At first it may seem that the items are interactive because of Saga’s love for these animals, but in fact, finding each of them will give you an achievement and a nice bonus at the end of the game. This is especially true at high difficulty levels. In this guide we will tell you where all the cuddly toys are located and how to find them.

Remark: For convenience, we will describe the location of the scarecrows as we move through the story.

You can only find stuffed deer while playing Saga. To do this, simply approach the object and press the interact button. You’ll first encounter them at the very beginning of the passage when you inspect the trailer near the crime scene. Even if you missed a scarecrow, you can return at any time until you reach the point of no return in the Return 6: Scratch chapter.

Scarecrow #1

As we have already noted, there is a trailer of cult members not far from the crime scene. The first cache is located in front of the caravan, and there is a stuffed deer in the house itself.

Once you first get to town, run to the motel and find a private room – a copy of the main character’s House of Mind. There’s a scarecrow on the wall. If it’s inactive now, try returning later (according to the plot, you’ll end up in this building more than once).

Across the street from the motel is the Dear Deer coffee shop, where you also enter the story to question witnesses. To the left of the couple there is a passage to the utility room. Open the first door on the right – at the end of the utility room is a stuffed deer.

As you emerge from the fold, previously flooded parts of the site open up. Run to the Witchfinder Station and look for a deer on the first floor above the fireplace.

Can be found in the wellness center where you find yourself during Thor’s quest. However, you will first have to find the door handle. To do this, unblock the computer (code – “170823”), return to the main entrance and find the door to the staff toilet (it is indicated on the map). Grab the lever under the reception, go back to the closed door and find the deer. In the same room is the final weapon for Saga: a gun.

The last deer is hidden on the territory of rented cottages. To get here you need a pair of bolt cutters, which you get in this chapter. You will also have to solve a small puzzle with a children’s song, because the door of house number 6 is locked.

Go through house #3, go under the tree and enter house #4. You see a riddle on the ground, place the figures on the pictures:

  • The monster is an egg;
  • Crow – eye;
  • Hero – jewelry.

After doing this, go outside and approach house number 6. A powerfully possessed person will emerge from it. Kill him and find the scarecrow.

What can you get if you find all the stuffed animals?

When all 12 scarecrows have been found (it’s not enough to find them alone, you have to interact with them), return to the Bright Falls Motel and approach the deer in the private room. At this time you will hear a characteristic sound coming from the guest rooms.

Run to the numbered wing where you will see a real deer. He will enter room 108 and open the door for you.
