How to start the Archons quest “Like a light rain for no reason”.
To do this, you must perform a number of mandatory steps:
- Reach Adventure rank 40. To do this, you also need to level up the world, which we talked about in this guide.
- Complete the Archons’ previous tasks, as well as the quest line from Chapter 1 of Part 4 “Prelude of White Dews and Black Waves”.
After completing the previous task, the storyline “Like a light rain for no reason” will automatically become available in the task log (key J on PC).

Like the dim moonlight of old

Once you’ve completed the previous Opera House quest, you can use the teleporter to quickly get to the marker on the map and enter the hotel. Here the hero is already waiting for Navia – a new acquaintance who helped you during the trial of Lini.
After the cutscene, you need to go to the Lucin fountain. Since you’ve been to this area before, you should have activated at least one teleporter – use it.

When you get there, watch a big video about the engine, after which you will receive an achievement “The stream ripples, full of melodiousness…”.
Go to Navia’s hosted accommodation
Return to the city and talk to the Navia agents and go to the dungeon. Jump into the only hatch and follow the area marked on the map. Before the mark, be sure to activate the teleport for convenience, and you can also take a photo.

When you get here, the task will be updated. Talk to the man named Melus and rest in the room. The next morning Navia will offer to go to court and you will receive an achievement “Once upon a time in Flev Sandr”.

The truth washed away by the rain
Use fast travel to the statue of the Hydro Archon and enter the Palace of Mermonius. At the entrance you meet Navia and you can talk to Neuvillet.

The judge won’t reveal any details about the real killer, but the heroes will have a small clue. You will have to go to the village of Poisson, in the east of the region. Immediately after the cutscene you will find yourself on the desired island, but you will have to go underground. As usual, here you can activate the teleport and take a photo.

Talk to Melus on the ship
In the center of the village you will see a ship – run along the only path and go up the slope to the top. During the dialogue you will receive the first clue “Minutes of the Callas Case”.

Just follow the marker on the map and chat with people to gather more information. The second proof will be “The Testimony of the Jacques Family”. Another clue will be “Information about Floran”.

Teleport to the city to the statue of the Hydro Archon, talk to gendarme Thierry. So you get “Information about Thierry”. Go down and talk to Marcel – “Information about Marseilles”.
In a conversation with Navivia, select the names of all suspects one after the other to open the notebook and view the available evidence. Choose from everything Marseilles. After you get another piece of evidence, the quest is over.

When everything returns to the water
After completing the previous task, you will find yourself on the coast. Dive underwater and find the entrance to the headquarters.

At the bottom you can activate a teleporter, as well as find a stingray and absorb its abilities. Swim to the stone entrance, in front of which is a Hydroculus.
At this point, the game will take you to the opera house, which you will again need to select information about Marseilles. Then the Callas the Dishonest event begins:
- Banquet – No.
- two shots – Testimony from Jacques’ family.
- Iron evidence from the crime scene — Protocol on the Callas case;
- Crime reenactment – The water of the primeval sea.
- Injustice and silence – No.
Soon the trial will be interrupted and you will be able to control the character again. Get out of the water and run to the elevator.

Dive into the water and borrow the xenochrome armored crab’s abilities. With their help, you can activate the shield, then release it at the cracked wall and break it.
On the other side you will find a lever that raises the water level. Follow the marker, fight two groups of enemies and examine the rich chest. In the same room, interact with the second lever, which will open the passage in the previous room.

There is an ordinary chest for the next similar device. By activating it, you need to kill two more groups of enemies. This will take you to a cave that will lead you to a place to look for clues.
All available interactive objects:
- Boxes with everything — Items of the Missing.
- Apsinthion bottles — Apsinthion.
- laboratory table – Vasher’s notes on the experiments.
- Water – A reservoir with water from the Primeval Sea.
- Bookshelf — Report on the results of the Callas investigation.
After inspecting all the objects, go back to the first one to part ways with Paimon. On the chests is a diary of Vasher’s lover – “Vigne’s Notebook”. Traveler with Paimon will soon return to the courtroom, where you must present this evidence.

There are a few more plot twists waiting for you during the trial. Once control passes to the player, you receive the achievement “Tragedy Repeats”.
But the task will not end there – at the exit, Marcel, aka Vasher, will meet the traveler, and then ask the supreme judge to go to the Lucine fountain.
