How to start the Ann of Narcissencreutz quest chain in Genshin Impact
The world quest becomes available after reaching the entrance to Annapause, west of the town of Cours-de-Fontaine. Players dive into the water from the nearest land teleporter, swim through a vast canyon, and soon locate the building entrance near an echolusk. Entering triggers a cutscene that begins the search.
Act 1: The great adventure in the Narcissenkreuz. Clearing foggy bubbles
Proceed by swimming forward and activating the nearby teleport. A marker leads to a confrontation with a monster. A crystalline mechanism and misty bubbles create hazards; getting struck by a bubble pushes the player back several meters.
To advance, attack the crystal mechanism to create platforms and shields that block incoming projectiles.
Repeat with the second crystal mechanism to help Al defeat the enemy.
Defeat Bubble Fort
Climb the tower and speak with the water elementals to update the task. Three bubbles must be overcome in this area. It is possible to start at any bubble, but beginning with the rightmost is convenient.
Along the path, Crystals appear. Use them to rise above and communicate with the hydro-granum.
A new foe appears—defeat him and enter the teleport that leads to the next bubble.
Following the same pattern, reach the second and third dendrogranums. Hydroculus can also be collected en route.
After completing these steps, head to Mori, speak to him, and fight to finish the quest and gain access to a luxury box.

The story of the princess and the team of heroes
Enter the bubble, move to the adjacent area, collect hydrogranulate, and locate another on the higher stone platform. Remember to turn on the teleport nearby.
How to unseal a treasure
Three simple puzzles must be solved, each linked to a crystalline mechanism. Nearby devices should be found and activated with a standard attack.
To unlock the final mechanism, overcome a few ramps. A xenomorph stingray lurks nearby and will guide new abilities during this segment.
As a reward, players may view a luxury box and remove the seal from the tower. Descend to the other elementals and enter the tower to face a group of four villains.
Afterward, re-enter the bubble, grab the contents from a precious chest, and step into the unknown.
The first act of the quest completes with the achievement “Due to difficulties…”.

Act 2: Kingdom through the looking glass. Escaping the closed loop
Players find themselves in a sealed area where a puzzle must be solved to progress. A simple sword lies at the start and should be picked up during exploration.
Traverse the grid first. Combat with crabs is unnecessary as they do not react to the hero.
Follow the marker to confront the monster. A regular chest appears—open it to unlock the grid.
In the next room a bubble blocks the path. Hide behind pillars to shield from its shots, then seize the hydro-granum.
Continue through an elevated corridor, take the elevator, and inspect a rich chest. This leads to a spacious library where a cutscene begins and the door behind closes. The room contains several hydro granules that allow revisiting explored locations.
Proceed to the middle circles, where monsters appear—two on the first loop, then three on the second. A rich chest appears on the second loop, and another wonderful chest on the third.
Take the elevator again for the third time, but jump off halfway to avoid a complete loop and a reset.
Approach the portal, use the Emerald Quill to remove the seal from a miraculous sword, and continue toward the end of this story arc.
Jump to the end of the story
After a cutscene, the library platform lowers and the next challenge is to defeat the water dragon.
First, destroy spawning elementals and time thresholds to prevent damage when the dragon spawns.
Check the next chamber for a precious chest, then locate five clues. A book will appear on the table after gathering them all.
Watch the cutscene to enter a new area and continue the search. This act also unlocks the achievement “And then…”.

Act 3: When she stops dreaming of you…
In this final act, players simply follow markers and interact with the heroes. When Annapause is reached again, the quest completes and the achievement “Anne in Wonderland” is earned along with a luxury box.
