Redfruit is a desert bloom that appears only in the Sumeru expanse. This location became accessible with update 3.1. This guide explains where to locate and collect red currant in Genshin Impact.
What is the red currant for?
Redheads are small scarlet blossoms that grow on cacti. Players need them to advance Kandakia, a four-star spear wielder who has a dedicated guide. To fully upgrade Kandakia, 168 Red Carp Flowers are required, so it pays to know where these blooms appear and plan the most efficient collecting route. This guide helps with that planning.
With this guide, a player can gather 74 flowers in roughly 12 minutes, which accounts for more than half of the total needed for Candace’s maximum ascension.
Where to buy krasnoplodnik
Currently there is no vendor selling these flowers. It’s likely they will appear in future updates. If that happens, the information here will be updated accordingly.
Where do you find red currant
Redfruit appears in the world at a cadence of about one spawn every 48 hours. After clearing the map and gathering all available resources, wait two days or check other players’ worlds. The locations where this flower grows are marked on the map.
For players who have disabled Candace and plan to push her to the max level, using the routes described below is recommended. It helps to bring characters with stamina bonuses. Suitable options include Kazuha, Keia, Razor, Xiao, or Heizou. The team should also include Tigari, who can mark Sumeru landmarks on the map.
Optional meal buffs such as Archon’s Medley, Lotus Egg Soup, and Creamy Stew can reduce endurance costs. Endurance can be restored with gifts like Mountains Noodles and Fried Chicken. A more detailed discussion of these strategies is provided in a separate guide.
How to Grow Redfruit in Genshin Impact
Begin at the teleport point located in the northeast corner of the Sumeru Desert.
Head west. The first blossom appears near a small rock, with another red-bearing bloom on a nearby cactus to the left.
Proceed to the Archon statue.
Move east. Close to a rock, two red-bearing trees stand nearby.
Return to the statue for a moment.
Now head straight north. Between the cacti, two more red-bearing plants wait.
Then head northeast. Cacti sprout among withered grass, home to the needed blooms.
Another krasnoplodnik grows slightly to the east.
The next blossom sits at the northeast base of a cliff you descend from.
Two more blooms bloom in the east, continuing the trail along the desert grasses.
Move to the next point. Two Redfruits lie behind the teleporter, with two more nearby to the right.
Walk east. The next pair of flowers sits on a cactus near the desert camp.
Head southeast, cross the desert toward the oasis. On the bank of a small lake, two red fruits await.
Proceed to the next Archon statue.
Run northeast, then descend. There you will find three required flowers.
Return to the statue and proceed southeast. A redhead is located there.
Follow the path southwest to another bloom.
Teleport to the indicated point.
Walk west. Red fruit grows at the cave entrance both left and right.
Continue further west. Another krasnoplodnik sits in withered grass.
You move south for the next blooms.
A small cactus with red blossoms grows slightly to the south.
Proceed further south to the next krasnoplodnik.
Return to the teleport point.
Head north. Redberry grows near a rock.
Go northwest and collect two flowers.
Climb north and slide down the cliff. There are three more blooms in the valley.

Teleport north again.
To the southeast, cacti with two flowers grow nearby.
Then head east. Climb down to a withered tree where two redheads can be seen.
Move northwest. Behind you, cacti sprout three red fruits.
Teleport to the south.
Head west. A cactus with flowers sits south of you near a rock.
Continue west. Another krasnoplodnik lies in the withered grass.
You are moving south.
A cactus with red flowers grows a little to the south.
Keep going south to encounter the next krasnoplodnik.
Return to the teleport point.
Go north. Redberry blooms near a rock.
Go northwest and collect two blooms.
Move north and descend the cliff. Three more blooms lie in the valley.
Proceed to the next point.

Then go east. A path down leads to a withered tree where two redheads are visible.
Head northwest. Behind you, a cluster of cacti holds three red fruits.
Teleport to the south. Westward, a cactus with flowers sits near a rock.
Continue west. Another krasnoplodnik sits in the withered grass.
You are heading south now.

Move further south to locate the next krasnoplodnik.
Return to the teleport point.
Go north. Redberry blooms near a rock.
Go northwest and pick up two flowers.
Climb north, then slide down into the valley where three more blooms lie.

You will find two more Redfruits to the desert’s west.
Proceed to the next point. A bloom sits north of your position.
Run northwest through the desert. Three more krasnoplodnik appear here.
Return to the previous teleport.
Take the road east along the mini-map path. Along the way, six cacti with flowers can be found.
Move to the next point.
