Purifying Light Feathers are a fresh activity in Genshin Impact, introduced with the companion in patch 3.6. Players will encounter similar jewels as they explore Gavireh Lajavard and the Kingdom of Farahkert. This guide explains how to use and locate all orbs, unlock Amrita Lake, level up, and what rewards await.

Why Purifying Light Feathers matter
Purifying Light Feathers are special shards left by the entities of Hvarna. They lie scattered across Gavireh Lajavard and the Farahkert Realm. Their strength has waned, so players must act to recover them.
Along your journey you’ll notice orange orbs floating in the sky. Sorush’s abilities are used to collect these feathers. A small test must be completed to proceed. For instance, you may need to collect a certain number of leaves within a time limit. If the test is failed, you start again from the beginning.
When roaming, keep an eye on the mini-map. When a feather is near, the corresponding icon lights up nearby.
After gathering, the feathers are added to the Jewellery section in the inventory. As a consumable item, they can be used to level up the Amrita Pool. This is explained in the next section.
How to Unlock Amrita Lake, how to level up, and the rewards
Amrita Lake becomes accessible after completing the world quest The Majestic Sky of That Day and obtaining Sorush as a companion. It is located near the Vurukash Oasis in the Farahkert Kingdom.
From the teleport, head west to locate the cave entrance. This area also offers a fast travel point.
At the lake, three bets can be found. Speak with one of the creatures named Fedri. After completing the required task, an exclamation mark will appear above its head.
Find Feathers of Purifying Light and offer them to the Amrita Pool to level up and earn rewards. Interact with the lake and press the button to offer.
Unlike the Dream Tree, rewards at Amrita Lake are random upon each level-up. However, offering 36 springs guarantees the full set of rewards, with every player receiving the same items in a different order.

How to find all Cleansing Light Feathers
There are currently 36 feathers in play. Updates may increase this number. This guide will be updated accordingly.
Plumage of cleansing light in Fravashi trees (1-10)
To obtain the first ten feathers, complete the Pale Fire world quest and locate all Fravashi trees. After basic tests, the remaining bets grant the needed resources.

Collect this feather by finishing the world quest The Majestic Sky of That Day. It sits near the Dendro Archon statue by the Temir Mountains.

From the previous spot, move right around the mountain. A hilichurl tent with a rich chest hides here. Pass it and turn left. Crystals sit on a hill with a feather on one of them. Picking it up reveals a four-leaf symbol above the Dendroculus.

Follow the southern edge of the Tuniga Gap. When you reach the Fravashi tree, head slightly toward the road. Several rocks sit here, and one holds a feather.

Travel to the western Tuniga Gap and follow the mini map icon. The feather rests on a crystal. There’s no need to climb; simply activate Sorush at the base and glide to the feather with a bet.

Investigate the eastern part of the Breach. A small hilichurl camp sits along the route up, and beside the cliff a sphere floats.

The next feather lies in a cave hosting a new boss. Enter the dungeon and examine the left columns; one column bears a feather.

Return a bit and search for a closed chest in the middle of the crystals. One stone hides a feather.

To collect the next feather, improve Sorush by completing the world quest When the Light of Hvarna Manifests. Upon reaching the dungeon, activate the teleport and unlock the cave passage with a bet. A large ledge, an enemy, and a chest await. Defeat the foe and head to the cliff.

Teleport east and inspect the cactus near the teleporter.

From the previous spot, head southwest. Behind the hill, a large cactus hosts another feather.

Use fast travel to the indicated area and check the rock to the right of the teleporter.

Return to the teleporter and enter the cave. A adit with huge crystals contains a floating sphere nearby.

Proceed to the marked area and locate a monster camp. A large tent hides a regular box. Use Sorush beside the tent and fly up to reveal the sphere on the hill.

From there, follow the four-leaf symbols to a cliff and turn left. At the edge, two hilichurls guard a floating orb.

After dealing with the two hilichurls, return. There is another sphere between the four-leaf symbols.

Teleport to the Dendro Archon statue in the Farahkert Empire and slide down the cliff. The feather rests on a tree branch.

The fastest way to reach this feather is to jump to the Dendro Archon statue and head south. Between two rocks, a sphere awaits.

From the known statue, head south to a large broken tree. A sphere hides under its bark.

Use fast travel to the southern Vurukash Oasis teleport. A globe sits nearby.

Run northeast from the previous location until reaching a giant tree. A large stump sits right in front, and a feather hovers above it.
Cleaning light spring (31)
Teleport north to the western part of Asipattravan’s Swamp. Walk the runway, then turn left. A single tree stands here, with a dendroculus above and a feather on the cliff behind it. Another quick route is to teleport nearby and slide down the cliff.

Feathers float on a tree here. The simplest path is to use the closest teleporter and slide down.
Cleaning light spring (33)
Enter the Cleansing Spring dungeon via fast travel and look for a lone tree nearby. A sphere is there.
Cleaning light spring (34)
The quickest route to the next orb is to a marked teleporter on the map, follow the cliffs north, and slide down to the water. A hilichurl is digging here; use an Anemo ability to release the feather.
Cleaning light spring (35)
The next feather is tied to the world quest When the Light of Hvarna Manifests, located in the dungeon housing the fourth great song of Hvarna. Upon reaching the testing site, stay awhile and search for the orb.

The final feather sits in the dungeon encountered during the Hvarna saga – When the Light of Hvarna Manifests. If it wasn’t picked up during the quest, fast travel to the underground east of the Tuniga Gap to reach it.
You arrive in a central hall. Enter the right door with two switches and rush to the large oven.
In this chamber, take the right-hand passage to reach a vast entrance hall. Turn left to find a sphere beside three ore deposits.
