Poll results and projections for Sejm elections in Poland

If elections to the Sejm were held this Sunday, 34.5 percent of voters would back the United Right, placing them in first position. In second place comes the Civic Coalition with 30.6 percent of voting intentions. The Estimator studio released the findings from a study conducted for the DoRzeczy.pl portal, reporting these results.

Projected turnout would be around 57 percent.

In the July poll, the United Right group including PiS, Sovereign Poles, Republicans and Kukiz’15 gained 34.5 percent of voting intentions, a 0.4 point drop from the June survey. If translated into seats, this would amount to 188 seats in the Sejm.

KO was indicated by 30.6 percent of respondents, down 0.8 points, which would translate into 144 seats for the coalition in the Sejm.

Notable rise for the Confederacy

The Confederacy received 14.6 percent of voting intentions, up 1.1 percentage points, which would yield 61 seats in the Sejm.

The Third Way, which includes Polska 2050 and PSL-KP, obtained 11 percent, an increase of 0.5 points from June, projecting 45 seats.

The New Left, consisting of SLD, Spring and Together, reached 7.5 percent of voting intentions, up 0.2 points, corresponding to 21 seats.

Other parties attracted 1.8 percent of respondents, down 0.6 percentage points, equating to one seat in the Sejm.

The survey was conducted from July 5 to July 7 this year on a nationally representative sample of 1,034 adults using the CATI method, a computer-assisted telephone interview process. The communiqué only includes respondents who stated their intention to vote and named their preferred party.
