Parliamentarians must be careful in everything they do. Lurking in the parliamentary corridors is the fearless Civic Coalition MP Witold Zembaczyński with his phone, which, it turns out, he willingly uses to secretly photograph his colleagues. The biggest ‘crime’ appears to be… talking to parliamentarians from other parties – for example, MP Paulina Matysiak with representatives of the Confederation.
Although it seems that ‘anti-PiS’ is the priority for the current ruling coalition and the parliamentary majority, there are projects such as CPK or nuclear energy that are united regardless of party color, as evidenced by MPs Paulina Matysiak of the left and Marcin. Horała from PiS. The creators of the “Yes to Development” initiative can also talk to representatives of different groups, even those with whom they fundamentally disagree.
Parliamentary paparazzi?
Well, probably for politicians who boast in the media that they have a sticker on all their cars with eight stars meaning “J… PiS”, and already on election night threatened reporters from the then TVP, as well as… Telewizja wPolsce24, that they could already ‘pack’ normal conversations, even with those with whom we disagree, is something incomprehensible.
Right-wing comrades with a new acquisition
– wrote Witold Zembaczyński under a photo secretly taken by MP Paulina Matysiak with members of the Confederation Parliament, adding a hashtag with the slogan “Yes for CPK”, except that instead of “yes” we Having written Russian ‘da’ in Cyrillic. In other words, not only an attack on the Confederacy, but also the fueling of a crazy, mendacious conspiracy theory about the alleged involvement of Russian trolls in supporting the CPK project.
“We invite you to become part of the team”
The KO politician received an answer from MP Matysiak.
Do you always take photos in the parliamentary corridors? MPs Michał Wawer and Witold Tumanowicz, like me, work in the parliamentary team “Yes for Development. CPK – Atom – Gates” unlike you. We invite you to join the team because it is true that Poland’s raison d’être is infrastructure projects like CPK. Important because of social, economic and military benefits
– wrote the left-wing MP.
Matysiak also posted a screenshot of the Sejm website, showing the full composition of the parliamentary team. Significantly, the team includes MPs from probably all parties sitting in the Sejm, except one – the Civic Coalition…
Can you imagine that parliamentarians from different parties work in this team? There is PiS, there is New Left, there is Confederation, there is Razem, there is Polska2050, there are Republicans. Let’s put an end to this sectarian way of thinking that we cannot talk and work with people from groups other than our own.
Not all opposition MPs were so kind to MP Zembaczyński. Some, like PiS MP Mariusz Kałużny, decided to contact the parliamentary majority politician in a language that might be more understandable to a known fan of the eight-star, vulgar slogan:
Yes. He’s an old bastard.
MP Jan Kanthak also posted an answer that was accessible to Zembaczyński and additionally referred to the famous hearing of PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński before the Pegasus Investigative Committee.
Are you jealous of your member because no one wants to talk to you?
Mr House of Representatives, sometimes you can learn something by talking to people from other parties. You should give it a try
– wrote Michał Wawer, parliamentarian of the Confederation.
What a shame on your part. And this instrumental naming of a woman…
– comments MEP Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik.
Dear Mr. MP, if there is anything here that resembles a “comrade” (i.e. someone from the so-called Lizard environment), it is your tribal way of thinking. These four are chatting in the hallway. I take it this has never happened to you?
– writes Marek Wróbel of the Republican Foundation.
MP Witold Zembaczyński discovered that MPs can talk to each other and do not immediately have to turn red with disgust. Incredible….
– says Bartosz Lewandowski ironically.
Witold Zembaczyński’s level is excessive. After all, this man has no inclination to speak out about anything. Eternally vulgar, full of content without value. Just imagine that he saw four MPs talking in the Sejm, with a hot head at the “big post on TT”, so he secretly took a photo and posted it online without a trace of shame, writing that whoever supports TAKdlaCPK is an agent of the Russians XDDD Your hands literally have nowhere to rest. Seriously, at this moment for the first time I held my head and metaphorically ‘sobbed’ about the state of Polish parliamentarism. And this ДАdlaCPK – My God, what level is this ♂️
– summarized Adam Czarnecki, creator of the initiative “We stand for CPK”.
Matysiak: This is not a crime, just normality
MP Paulina Matysiak also referred to the story with Witold Zembaczyński in another, longer contribution.
Lately, most emotions have been evoked by photos (taken secretly or not) in which people from different groups talk to each other. My dear people, this is not a crime, it is NORMALITY. Among my friends (those outside of politics) are people with different worldviews, different perspectives on many issues (often different from my own), and people who vote for different parties in elections. This doesn’t change the fact that we can like each other, we can argue and argue, talk about politics and other things.
– she emphasized.
We can have coffee or a beer, sometimes go to the cinema, or go on a trip. We can write to each other on the internet or have a chat if we unexpectedly meet each other on the street. We can also break the waffle. This is normal. Likewise, it should be normal for people from different parties to talk to each other. Not only in a television or radio program, not only by exchanging ‘blows’ on the parliamentary stage, but especially by meeting each other in conversation. That’s it and that’s it
– she added.
Message for Saturday: do not give in to sectarianism. Not this weekend, not ever
– she concluded.
PiS MP Adam Andruszkiewicz agreed with the left-wing MP.
This is sectarianism and extremely dangerous for the functioning of the state. Creating such deep divisions and internal hatred leads to paralysis of the country’s normal development, prevents normal legislative work and focuses politicians’ energies on party fighting instead of development. Therefore, those who criticize someone just because he can talk to the right, for example from the left, not only practice sectarianism, but also destroy the Polish state.
– he emphasized.
Let’s hope that MP Zembaczyński is consistent and does not talk to, for example, MP Przemysław Wipler between the meetings of the Pegasus Commission, and that the head of the post-election committee, Magdalena Filiks of KO, does not talk to, for example, Witold Tumanowicz of Konfederacja. Because what a crime it would be if it turned out that they were talking after all! But this is what happens when you are more interested in “f… PiS” or purging the media, and not just the public ones, before the official results of the parliamentary elections are announced.
