Since December, the head of state’s ratings have deteriorated by 8 percentage points. Currently, 43% of people have a positive opinion of Andrzej Duda’s presidency. respondents. The percentage of bad reviews in turn increased by 6 percentage points, or to 49%.
However, larger declines were registered by the Sejm and Senate. In the case of the Senate’s activities, the percentage of those who assess them positively (by 4 points, to 40%) and, to a greater extent, negatively (by 7 points, to 32%) has increased.
MPs, senators, local governments and local government officials
Current opinions about the work of MPs and Senators are more crystallized than a month ago (a decrease in the percentage of ‘hard to say’ answers by 10 and 11 percentage points respectively).
In January, 67% of people rated the work of local government officials in their city positively. respondents, which is slightly less than in September last year (by 2 percentage points). 24 percent Respondents are dissatisfied with it.
CBOS notes that local government ratings have remained stable in recent years. We register good opinions more often than average among rural residents, and bad opinions among respondents from the largest cities (500,000 inhabitants or more).
The study was conducted as part of the mixed procedure on a representative sample of adult Polish residents drawn from the PESEL register. The survey was conducted from January 11 to 21 on a sample of 1,015 people (including: 59.8 percent used the CAPI method, 27.0 percent – CATI and 13.2 percent – CAWI).
