“Menjars de la Terra” selects five Vega Baja restaurants to showcase their region

The INFORMACIÓN newspaper has curated this year’s Menjars de la Terra with a refreshed format. The return, backed by Diputación, sees a weeklong tour across the province’s towns, inviting residents and visitors to savor a different restaurant each day from Monday through Friday. The event features collaboration with Denominations of Origin Regulatory Councils, underscoring a commitment to promoting Alicante’s local products.

In Vega Baja, the dining week centers on the artichoke kitchen, and every menu highlights at least one signature dish from this emblematic ingredient. The conferences remain open to the public, offering a rare chance to immerse oneself in provincial culinary traditions—simply discover the restaurant that appeals and secure a table. The experience blends gastronomy with light entertainment and a festive atmosphere.
