MEC Scholarships 2023: How much money can you earn?

Expect surprising figures. This year more than 2.5 billion euros are distributed through fixed and variable components. The fixed portion includes several categories:

  1. Tuition scholarship covers the cost of the first enrollment credits (not the second).
  2. By family income: up to 1,700 euros.
  3. Relocation during the course: up to 2,500 euros.
  4. Academic excellence: between 50 and 125 euros.
  5. Basis: up to 300 euros (only for basic vocational training).

This is followed by a separate aid of 400 euros available to students who do not meet income requirements.

After the fixed portion is allocated, the remaining funds are distributed as a variable portion. Each student’s share is calculated using a formula that considers economic status and academic achievements.
