In the Sakura treatment quest in Genshin Impact, players often struggle to locate traps. This guide explains where the Thunder Cherries appear and how to disable every trap you encounter.

How to start the quest Cure for Sakura

The quest becomes available after finishing Tale from Tatara in Inazuma. Players should then seek out priestess Miyuki and speak with her. The map highlights the location where Miyuki can be found.

How to complete the task Treatment for Sakura and disable all traps

After speaking with Miyuki, proceed to the marked point. The objective is to defeat all treasure thieves and speak with the lone survivor. Return to the priestess, who will request the disarmament of all traps. The exact trap locations are shown on the map for guidance.

Thunder Sakura 1

Head to the point marked with the number 1 on the map, located just above the teleporter. Players must sense the elemental energy to locate three glowing zones. Stand in the center of each zone, wait for the ground to glitter, then step back just before a lightning strike to deactivate the trap.

When complete, inspect the chest and remove the odd object from the tree. This step is required to advance the quest.

Thunder Sakura 2

Proceed southwest. The method remains the same—stand in the blue circle, wait a moment for the discharge, then move away. Remember to remove foreign objects from the tree.

Thunder Sakura 3

Travel to the southern shore where the Kujo camp sits. Traps are arranged along the coast.

Thunder Sakura 4

Then move north from the camp. Another Thunder Sakura lies along the coast.

Thunder Sakura 5

The final set is found on the northern coast of the large island.

How to defeat Electro Hypostasis?

Return to Miyuki and speak with her again, then follow the map marker to reach the boss arena. There, Fatui skirmishers will challenge the group. First eliminate the Hydro Grenadier, who has healing capabilities. Next, break the Electro Hammer’s elemental shield. Use Cryo-based attacks or abilities; if the team lacks Cryo heroes, a Pyro fighter can work as an alternative. After fending off the elites, focus on the remaining foes and then report back to Miyuki.

The final foe of this quest is Electro Hypostasis. Players may have faced similar foes in other adventures. Note that Electro Hypostasis resists Electro damage. Useful team options include

  • Pyro characters such as Dilyuk, Kli, Xiang Ling, Hu Tao, or Amber to trigger the Reboot reaction;
  • Cryo specialists like Ayaka, Gan Yu, Rosaria, or Eula to enable Superconduct and boost damage;
  • Geo users like Zhongli, Itto, Ningguang, or Noelle to create protective geocrystals;
  • healers such as Shinobu, Barbara, Bennett, or Diona to sustain the team.

t

During the Electro Hypostasis fight, break the protective cubes around its core and then strike the core. When three orbs appear, sprint toward them and unleash elemental damage before they restore health. The rest of the fight relies on dodging the boss’s attacks and landing attacks on the core.

After securing victory, return to Miyuki.

Reward for the Treatment for Sakura quest
