Unlike the KGP documents that appear throughout story moments, Oberankov’s money hides in spots that aren’t obvious. This means players may need to search more deliberately to collect them all. A spade is required to uncover the money, and owning two spades is wise because they wear down quickly. The guide below explains the exact spots where each cache is tucked away.
Treasure #1
From the checkpoint, follow the road downward. Just after the Karat Motel, in the green area to the right, there is a transformer building surrounded by a fence. Find the grate and enter to reveal a treasure.
Treasure #2
This cache sits between the labor camp and the hotel named Under the Drunken Bear. Start from the labor camp, drive to the first intersection where the country road leads toward the bridge, and then look to the hill on the right.
Honey #3
From the previous location, ascend the country road toward the bridge. Stop the vehicle there, exit, turn right, and climb the hill. A mound awaits digging to retrieve the treasure.
Honey #4
Return to the south highway and head toward the hotel Under the Drunken Bear. At the crossroads, take the first road that leads to a hill dotted with burnt cars. Climb the hill to find the hidden cache.
Honey #5
The next cache lies between a sawmill and a cemetery. Follow the country road toward the picnic area where secret KGP documents can sometimes be found. If approaching from the south, a small dump appears on the right; just behind it stands a shelter concealing the treasure.
Honey #6
From the prior treasure, follow the road up to reach the main road. Turn left at the crossroads and stop. A small hill sits on the left side where the cache is hidden inside.
Treasure number 7
Players should head to the area near Gavrilov’s lair. After the story quest marks the location on the map, proceed to the intersection of two country roads and follow the cliff toward the pond. Before reaching the water, search the forest for a hidden cache. When leaving Gavrilov’s house, keep to the right to spot it.
Honey #8
The final cache lies just south of the sawmill. From the last point, cross the road and drive through the sawmill. A hill sits on the right; do not climb it. Stop and inspect three large stones where the treasure is concealed.
