When players pass Contraband Police they will encounter a series of extra tasks. One of these is locating and collecting classified KGP documents. For each map that reveals a document, a reward of one hundred dollars is earned. This guide outlines where every document can be found and provides maps showing their exact locations.
Early on, it becomes possible to track how many folders have been found at the border post terminal. Players should progress through the main story until they complete the tutorial to unlock this feature.
Document KGP No. 1 (border post)
The first document is accessible from the start of the game. Players should look inside the street toilet at the border post, situated to the right of the trailer where the main character rests.
Document KGP No. 2 (border post)
Also located at the border post, this item can be found in the security room, where guard Novik sits. The folder rests on the right side of the table behind a stack of books, and it is hard to miss.
KGP Document No. 3 (Motel Karat)
Not far from the border post lies the Karat Motel, a familiar waypoint on the route to the labor camp. While traveling, players can pick up documents along the way. To the right of the building stands a large truck; behind it, on a table inside a folder, rests the documents.
KGP Document #4 (Ruins)
Following the road south from the motel leads to the ruins. Park and explore the damaged structures, focusing on the largest house bearing a black flag. Enter through the sole doorway and locate the folder on the table in a small room.
KGP document No. 5 (labor camp)
At the moment prisoners are first escorted to the labor camp in the story, a folder containing secret papers can be found. Inspect the far left tower behind the officer who oversees the transfer; a wooden box hides the document inside.
KGP Document No. 6 (Vlad’s Tools)
Right after completing the preceding storyline task, players are directed to Vlad’s Tools store, a central map landmark frequented for weapons, tools, and ammunition. Once there, circle the building to reach the back area. To the left of the workbench beside the generator lie green crates, and one of them contains the document folder.
KGP Document No. 7 (Hotel “Under the Drunk Bear”)
Note: Access to this document may require significant progression in the story. One day the player is assigned to the hotel to investigate a murder. After the task is completed, the warehouse area can be explored where the folder with secret documents is located.
KGP Document No. 8 (Police Department)
Head to the police station in the map’s northeast, a destination tied to the plot whenever contraband needs to be delivered. The warehouse can be revisited later to offload any prohibited goods. At the reception, approach the police officer and move behind the boxes to the far end of the platform to discover another folder.
KGP Document No. 9 (Police Department)
Exit the interior and circle to the outside. Go around to the grille and turn right; the secret documents lie inside a green container.
KGP Document #10 (Cemetery)
Travel east from the police station toward the cemetery, a stop often connected to optional commissioner duties. Once inside the cemetery grounds, proceed toward the chapel where several graves line the left side; one grave has a large crack and houses a folder of documents.
KGP document No. 11 (Parking in the forest)
Near the gun shop, a country road leads to a makeshift tourist camp where a document sits on a couch waiting to be found.
KGP Document #12 (sawmill)
Return to the gun shop and take the country road toward the sawmill. Inspect the main building, circle around to the left, and behind some large wooden boxes there are documents resting on a tree stump.
KGP Document #13 (abandoned house)
A country road through the woods bridges the distance between the sawmill and the Karat Motel. Along the way there is an abandoned one-story house where the documents can be retrieved inside.
KGP document No. 14 (Gavrilov’s hiding place)
During a story sequence that involves choosing between supporting the resistance or arrest Gavrilov, players should first walk around the house and inspect the barrels. One of them conceals a folder with documents.
