Google officially said goodbye to the “cloud” service Stadia – the servers went down after three years. “To our players and partners, our team, our community and our fans, thank you for everything. Be kind to each other and take care of yourself”, — wrote company on Twitter.
Google Stadia launched on November 19, 2019. The project was very ambitious. The developers promised many unique features such as launching games directly from Google search engine and planned to release big budget exclusive games. However, the service was not popular enough with the players and they decided to close it.
We have talked about the reasons for the failure in more detail here.

According to Google, many of Stage’s developments will now be used in YouTube, Google Play and AR direction.
