Sollers ST6 Pickup Gains Gasoline Power, Two Trim Levels in Russia

Sollers has begun deliveries of the ST6 pickup equipped with a gasoline power unit, according to the brand’s press office as reported by TASS. The vehicle is open for orders at the company’s Russian dealer centers with starting prices around 2.4 million rubles.

The ST6 is a rebadged version of the Chinese JAC T6. It seats five and relies on a 176 horsepower gasoline engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and permanent all wheel drive. The frame-based body supports a cargo bed with dimensions of 1520 by 1520 by 470 millimeters and a payload capacity of 820 kilograms. Top speed is listed at 150 kilometers per hour.

The pickup is offered in two trim levels, Basic and Comfort. Basic equipment includes two airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, an on-board computer, an audio system, power-adjustable side mirrors, power windows, heated front seats, and rear parking sensors. The Comfort variant adds a multimedia system with six speakers and a large touchscreen, along with a rearview camera.

ST6 pickups are manufactured at Mazda’s former plant in Vladivostok, a site with a long history in vehicle assembly and regional production capabilities.

Earlier reports noted that UAZ has upgraded the Hunter SUV, highlighting ongoing activity in Russia’s diversified light-vehicle segment.
