Chinese automobile manufacturer Great Wall sold 84.5 thousand cars in Russia under the Haval, Tank and GWM brands in the period January-September 2023. This was reported by a socialbites.ca correspondent from the Great Wall press conference.
Haval brand sold 73.6 thousand cars in Russia in the three quarters of 2023. The sales leader was the Jolion crossover, which sold 36.4 thousand cars. In second place is Haval F7 (12.3 thousand vehicles), and in third place is Dargo (9.8 thousand vehicles).
The Tank brand, which entered the Russian market in 2023, sold 7.6 thousand vehicles, approximately 4.8 thousand of which were sold in the third quarter. Between January and September 2023, GWM pickup truck sales exceeded 3.5 thousand units.
According to Haval Executive Director Andrey Akifev, Haval’s brand awareness in Russia reached 59% in 2023 compared to 31% in 2019.
