Apple Company announced On the expansion of the self-repair and diagnostics program in Europe. It will allow Apple device owners to perform some types of repairs themselves, using the company’s original spare parts and tools.
Next year, the self-diagnosis program plans to expand its geography and make it available to residents of Canada. Self-diagnostics is currently supported for 42 Apple products, including the latest Mac models with the M3 chip. Service documentation is translated into 24 languages, which greatly simplifies the diagnostic and repair process.
Apple said this move aims to increase customer satisfaction and improve product experiences. Additionally, DIY repairs can be a greener option as they do not require transporting devices to service centers and reduce e-waste.
Owners of Apple devices can take advantage of the self-repair program by ordering the necessary parts and tools through the company’s official website. They will also have access to online guides and video tutorials to help them complete the repair job.
