Actor Anatoly Zhuravlev, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday, explained why he calls himself less into acting. Interview with the artist publications 5-tv.ru.
The actor played in more than 80 projects. A landmark film for the artist was Dmitry Astrakhan’s film “Everything will be fine”, in which Zhuravlev starred in the role of paratrooper Kolya. He admits there are fewer offers now.
“I ask myself: What does this have to do with it? Maybe with age? “I look at the cinema now and they really use TV series a lot and invite young people,” says the artist.
Now Zhuravlev plays in the theater and performs at events. He maintains good physical shape and is ready for the audition.
“If you’re not working specifically on camera in theater but you’re in good shape, if they call you and say, ‘You have an audition tomorrow,’ you’re ready. And you are ready for this test. And if you were sitting very upset before, you may not be able to pull yourself together and prepare yourself in a few days,” says Zhuravlev.
