According to DSCC, screen shipments of the iPhone 15 series were 16% higher than the iPhone 14 series and 21% higher than the iPhone 13 series. iPhone 15 Pro accounted for 64% of all modules purchased in September 2023. In October, this figure increased to 71%.
The main display supplier of the new iPhone was Samsung Display Company (SDC); this company’s share accounted for 81% of purchases at the end of October. Apple’s other iPhone display partners include LG Display (LGD) and Chinese company BOE, with shares of 18% and 1% respectively. BOE’s low share is due to its participation in the iPhone 15 series screen supply only in October.
