More than half of the Russians are ready to pay for online courses, even if they cost 50% of the salary. This was known by Gazeta.ru from the getcoure survey, attended by more than 1,200 participants between the ages of 18 and 50 from different regions of the Russian Federation.
The study announced that they are ready to spend 15 to 50 thousand rubles in online courses (58%). This indicator is significantly higher among the participants who have 50 to 100 thousand rubles in which they reach 70%. At the same time, a significant number of survey participants (24%) are ready to invest more than 50,000 rubles in education.
Budget options for online learning are interested in minority: only 10% of the participants are ready for 5-10 thousand rubles, 5% are less than 5 thousand and 3% are ready for 10 to 15 thousand rubles. It is stated that people with wages below 50 thousand rules do not practically take into account the possibility of online learning.
In financing, the majority (90%) plans to pay full of training on their own. The rest is ready to use installments or credit (6%) or payment by the employer (4%).
Among the most popular fields for online learning in 2025, the leading courses for neurosathers shown by one -quarter of the participants (24%). This indicator is significantly higher among men -more than 40%. Foreign Languages (30%), IT programs (28%) and design (22%) are also highly demanded. Approximately 14% of the respondents are interested in getting a new applied profession. Labor courses are 13%, psychology and personal development 12%. According to the study, the decreasing popularity of esotericism (3%) and financial literacy (4%).
Almost half (43%) of the participants already have an online learning experience. For the first time, 14% try this format in 2025 and one -third of the participants plans to start online work. Only 11% do not have such an experience and do not try to get it.
The main reasons for the recording of online courses, survey participants called the desire to get additional skills in the current profession (31%). It turned out that the desire to increase revenues and dominate new hobbies is almost equally important – 27% and 26%, respectively, aim to change expertise of 27% and 5% plan to open their own business.
