Digital stores Steam and VK Play have released Torn Away, an interactive game set during World War II. Moscow studio Perelesoq was responsible for the creation of the project. reports DTF portal.
In Torn Away, the player controls a 10-year-old girl named Asya, who finds herself in a German labor camp after the start of the war. Our hero manages to escape and has to pass through Germany and Poland to return home. The play tells the difficulties of wartime through the eyes of a child. According to the developers, the plot of the game is inspired by real diaries of Soviet children.
In 2022, perelesoq studio lost part of the team, and Lithuanian publisher Nordcurrent tried to cancel the contract and take away the rights to the game. But the developers managed to defend their rights and complete the project.
Torn Away can be purchased for 550 rubles on Steam and VK Play. The players welcomed the game with enthusiasm. So, at the time of this writing, 98% of the reviews on Steam were positive – they mainly noted the touching and emotional plot of the project.
Previously on Steam the game is out “Russian village simulator” where you have to prepare moonshine.
