According to information obtained by socialbites.ca, Volkswagen dealers in Russia have run out of new Volkswagen Touareg SUVs, which were officially imported to the country by the Volkswagen representative office.
This was reported at the Volkswagen dealership in Magnitogorsk, where the last copy was put on sale.
“We had a Touareg but it was sold recently. Such cars are no longer available,” the manager of the car dealership told the socialbites.ca correspondent, who asked about buying a Volkswagen Touareg from old stock.
Data obtained from Automotive Group Rus (the name of the former Russian representative office of Volkswagen Group Rus) also proves that there are no more Volkswagen Touaregs officially imported to Russia in stock. As of early September, neither SUV was sold at two dealerships.
For the last Volkswagen Touareg from official deliveries in the Elegance configuration, a dealer from Magnitogorsk asked for 11.5 million rubles. The car is equipped with a 3.0-liter diesel engine with 249 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
Previously, socialbites.ca learned about this in Russia finished Volkswagen Polo liftbacks were produced at the Kaluga Volkswagen plant.
