Apple has released macOS 14 Sonoma, its newest operating system for Mac, offering a host of new features. In this respect reports MacRumor’s publication.
Sonoma now has “stunning screensavers” featuring natural, urban and underwater landscapes. Widgets can now be placed anywhere on the desktop, and their colors will change dynamically depending on the dominant tones of the wallpaper. iPhone widgets appear automatically in macOS 14 when both your smartphone and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Some internet functions have been improved. For example, the Safari browser now has profiles that allow you to sort your history, cookies, extensions, and bookmarks into work and personal categories. Support for web applications has appeared – any site can be displayed as a program icon on the desktop. Privacy settings have been expanded.
macOS Sonoma now has a game mode. It gives the computer the highest priority for gaming on the processor and graphics unit to ensure more stable frame rates and lowest latency when inputting commands to wireless headsets and controllers.
