Apple introduced the new – fourth – beta version of iOS 16.4 with various additions. In this respect informs MacRumors version.
One of the biggest innovations in iOS 16.4 is the addition of push notifications from tabs in the Safari browser. This feature works similarly to the Web Push option in macOS. Apple has also allowed icons of selected sites from third-party browsers such as Google Chrome to be added to the iOS desktop.
Another remarkable innovation was the expansion of the emoji set. There are over 20 new emojis, including nodding head, pink heart, donkey, deer, jellyfish, hyacinth, ginger, blackbird and more. Previously, the same emojis were seen in the new beta version of WhatsApp for Android.
After all, Cupertino tech giant Poscasts has made a number of minor fixes to its Apple Music and HomeKit apps.
It is worth noting that all these changes are also the same for the fourth beta version of iPadOS 16.4, which was also released on March 15.
