CONMEBOL
The winner of each group after the six rounds progresses to the Grand Final, played over two legs. In keeping with the competition rules, tiebreakers are applied as follows when the Phase II standings hinge on ties near the top and in the other qualifying positions:
In a tie for first place in Phase II between the clubs that finished first and second in Phase I, those two clubs advance to Phase III (the Final).
For ties among teams finishing 3rd to 8th in Phase II, the following criteria are applied in order: goal difference in Phase II, total goals scored in Phase II, away goals in Phase II, fewer goals conceded away, fewer yellow cards in Phase II, fewer red cards in Phase II, and best position in the Phase I ranking.
