A recent national survey in Poland shows broad willingness to participate in a referendum on relocating migrants, with officials planning to hold the vote in autumn alongside parliamentary elections.

The polling, conducted for United Surveys in collaboration with RMF FM and DGP, asked a straightforward question about voter turnout: if a referendum on reassignment runs at the same time as parliamentary polls, will you take part?

Results indicate a strong affirmative lean. At least 46.8 percent of respondents answered with an outright yes, while another 10.3 percent said they would vote yes in a more tepid sense. Together, this sums to 57.1 percent of Poles who indicated they would participate.

Negative responses

On the opposite side, 24 percent stated they would definitely not participate, and 12 percent indicated they would probably not vote. About 6.9 percent remained undecided.

When broken down by political alignment, supporters of the governing coalition show higher levels of readiness to vote in the referendum organized by the United Right, with 72 percent indicating participation, compared with 37 percent among supporters of the opposition.

These findings were reported by RMF24, with coverage also citing wPolityce as a source for the data.
