The proposals for PiS’s program, as outlined so far, fit into the broader plan of the party, Marek Kuchciński, head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, told PAP. The complete program will be unveiled during the weekend.
PiS program proposals
Starting Monday, Law and Justice will unveil components of its election platform. These include the Friendly Housing Estate initiative, aimed at modernizing and revitalizing residential areas and apartment blocks, and the Good Meal program for hospital patients. Under this scheme, facilities would receive additional funding and the National Health Fund would ensure a meaningful improvement in hospital food quality.
As Kuchciński emphasized in an interview with PAP, the two initial proposals complement the overall program, but only when presented with concrete examples.
Kuchciński added that the large-scale panel housing plan is a part of housing policy that is highly anticipated.
So far, no ready-made solution has emerged, even though decades of attempts to tackle large panel construction have been made. A straightforward approach, however, is warming — it exists, and it should be readily available in every municipality, the minister noted.
Regarding the Good Meal program, Kuchciński highlighted that funding should address protection and healthcare challenges. He pointed out that, despite substantial money flowing into this area, the program must be anchored in concrete specifics.
And this is specific, he underscored.
Convention on Law and Justice
When asked what to expect from forthcoming proposals, the head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery replied: Lets wait, stay calm. They will be solid. Everything is prepared by our team, he added.
All program proposals will be presented at the convention on Saturday, he noted.
PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński announced in Kielce that the party would publish its election manifesto starting Monday, detailing its key points.
The program, as is typical for the party, spans a wide range of topics, sometimes with granular detail. This is a hallmark of PiS, Kaczyński said, and there are points worth highlighting because they matter to Poles.
According to Kaczyński, each agenda item should be a topic that the Polish people are discussing and find meaningful for their lives.
PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek told PAP that a comprehensive program presentation would take place in Końskie on Saturday, September 9.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled to proceed under the plan, with 460 deputies and 100 senators to be elected for four-year terms.
