The upcoming election carries enormous consequences. One path could continue upward, bringing real progress after long years of struggle, while deviating from that course could plunge the nation back into the failures highlighted by the previous government, warned PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński during a rally in Szczecin.
President Kaczyński underscored the high stakes of the next vote, stressing that the choice before voters is not minor.
He described a stark fork: continuing the current trajectory could yield tangible gains after decades of hardship, or veering off and reliving the grievances once exposed by the prior administration.
He spoke at a provincial convention in Szczecin, outlining the vision and warning against complacency.
In another moment, Tusk alleged that Western influence would be imposed if power shifted, recounting concerns about what he described as ruinous financial practices and the sale and liquidation of assets. He claimed these measures left public finances in disarray, painting a picture of a drastic cleanup that would accompany broader political changes.
— said the president of PiS.
Telephone conversations with the Chancellor and Prime Minister of Russia
Kaczyński asserted that there should never again be conversations in which the Polish prime minister merely receives advice or directives from the German chancellor or the Russian prime minister on matters that touch Poland’s own interests.
He referenced recently publicized discussions and argued for transparency, noting that it would be valuable to see records of conversations between Putin and Tusk, not tied to any particular grand initiative, but rather to scrutinize how international discussions influence Polish policy and public sentiment.
He framed the issue as a matter of rule of law, insisting that the courts and judges were acting in ways that affected people’s lives, including imprisonment in some cases. He attributed these developments to external pressure rather than purely domestic policy decisions and urged a careful examination of actors and motives behind those actions.
– said Kaczyński.
He urged conference participants to engage with their neighbors and friends, encouraging them to vote for a vision labeled as independent and Polish, emphasizing national autonomy and practical outcomes over partisan rhetoric.
