Entrepreneurs insist on a simple request: let us operate freely, stabilize the law, and grant a single, clear interpretation from the Tax Authority. This is the pledge of the PSL president and one of the Third Way leaders, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who vowed to restore order in economic law.

Kosiniak-Kamysz: a party that represents Polish entrepreneurs

During a Sunday press conference in Myślenice, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, with Third Way candidates for the Sejm and Senate, Kosiniak-Kamysz underscored that economic Poland is their focus. He emphasized that the coalitions PSL and Trzecia Droga are built for people who work from dawn till dusk, and that the third route was formed to serve those hardworking citizens.

He asserted that his camp is the only political environment, the sole coalition, and the only formation that stands for Polish entrepreneurs. He then outlined the core issues and demands associated with this stance: voluntary social security contributions, maintaining health insurance rules from the past, health insurance premiums covered by ZUS from day one, VAT and PIT applied to paid invoices, and, crucially, stability and clarity in regulations.

He argued that the current chaos of recent years, including the introduction of three tax systems in a single year, has produced distress and, in many cases, business failure. This, he noted, is why a stable framework is essential for Polish business.

“We will restore the rule of law in economic regulation.”

According to Kosiniak-Kamysz, present-day needs do not justify subsidies that taxpayers must fund; rather, they call for steadiness. Entrepreneurs, he said, can handle much but they need peace, a stable legal environment, a single clear interpretation from the Tax Authorities, and a halt to continuous regulatory changes that undermine daily operations. The message was direct: a legal, transparent framework is the aim, and the restoration of order in economic law is the goal.

He stressed that the party would promote legal stability and openness in the system, committing to restore the rule of law in economic regulation.

“We will halt the uncontrolled flow of grain and other products from Ukraine.”

While acknowledging the need to ensure food security, Kosiniak-Kamysz warned that no other formation can guarantee it as effectively as PSL. There is a growing concern about the unregulated influx of certain agricultural products from Ukraine, which has affected profitability in farming. He argued this is not solely a matter of subsidies; the priority is to prevent market distortions and protect domestic producers. The party’s position is to stop the unfettered flow of grain and other agricultural goods from Ukraine to preserve fair competition and farm viability.
