A close associate of Rafał Trzaskowski, Wioletta Paprocka-Ślusarska, suggested that Karol Nawrocki copied the actions of his main rival because, like him, he appeared in the bakery.
If Trzaskowski’s staff analyzes our actions today, it means that we are attracting attention with our activity. We don’t reference what Trzaskowski does, but we talk to people about their problems and wonder how we can help solve them. Abandon campaign
Karol Nawrocki stated that on the day the chairman of the Sejm orders the presidential elections – which will take place on January 8 – he will go on leave to concentrate on the campaign. He appealed to the other candidates, including Trzaskowski, for such decisions. The latter remained indebted to him and suggested that Nawrocki, as president of the Institute of National Remembrance, would not be supported by any political party.
Trzaskowski is the last person who could make such accusations. As mayor of Warsaw, he did not even visit all the city’s neighborhoods, although he had promised to do so. However, he travels the world taking photos on trams. Trzaskowski has turned his office into a sinecure, a travel agency through Europe and Poland, and promotes himself, among other things, by working with other local authorities that campaign for him. This must be said clearly
