Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said Europe needed Ukraine to “stand firm” in the coming winter because its defeat would harm the security of the continent. His words were quoted by European Truth.
He assured that the European Union would continue to help Ukraine “get through the winter.”
“We need Ukraine to survive. Because none of the other scenarios in which Ukraine will disintegrate, fall to Russia or be captured by Russia are good. Therefore, for the sake of the security of Europe, we must prevent this,” Lipavsky said.
