““The introduction of civil partnerships is by far the least important issue for Poles,” says the latest CBOS survey.
The fact that Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s connection to reality can best be described by the term “high” is intuitively and superficially taken for granted. At least in the circles of Poles who show some thought activity and do not want to be a flock of sheep somewhere under the leadership of the Prime Minister, but he does not know where. Although he prefers it to be an abyss, as opposed to several strong (blue) people together (just like in the famous painting “The Blind Men” by Pieter Bruegel). In early July 2024, there were quite strong indications of the Prime Minister’s departure. And on whom he counts and whom he despises.
Donald Tusk is of course ignoring important evidence, but what sensible evidence does Donald Tusk not ignore? He is a complete idiot, even in the simplest cases, when there is evidence in the recordings and in the data, so why should he bother with a confirmation of departure? That is why he wrote on the X website on July 10, 2024: “We will vote for the decriminalization of abortion. We will vote for civil partnerships as a government project, even if not everyone was convinced of that. We are concluding the discussion, it is time for decisions.
Now let’s move on to the evidence of the departure of the current prime minister. Well, CBOS asked (July 1-3, 2024) what the priorities of Donald Tusk’s government should be. The idea was to determine the importance of each important issue on a scale of 1 to 7 and select (from a list) the three most important issues at that moment. And Poles named improving state security, strengthening defense and improving access to medical services as priorities. They not only considered these issues important (92% and 87%, respectively), but also gave them the highest priority (the value 7 was indicated by 71% and 66%, and the average on a scale of 1 to 7 was respectively: 6.39 and 6.24).
Poles also consider the following important: combating inflation, limiting price increases (87% consider this important, and the average value on a scale from 1 to 7 is 6.10), improving the functioning of courts and prosecutors’ offices (82% consider this important). (it is important) among respondents, and the average value on a scale from 1 to 7 is 5.90), improving the state of public finances, reducing the budget deficit (81% consider it important, and the average value on a scale from 1 to 7 is 5.80), reducing illegal immigration (this is important for 75% of respondents, and the average value on a scale from 1 to 7 is 5.67).
By early July 2024 (and probably earlier and later), the introduction of civil partnerships is definitely the least important issue for Poles: only 6% of them named this issue as a priority. topics. This is the real extent of the Polish interest in the legal and moral revolution. The opposite for Donald Tusk. The reason is simple: Tusk assumes that the LGBTQ+ lobby and those who want to equate the rights of same-sex relationships with “constitutional” marriages are very influential, especially abroad (US Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzeziński proves this in a strikingly obvious way). And they are very, even fanatically, devoted to the people they consider their own. And these lobbies will defend, protect and help Tusk sooner and more effectively than his political friends. And Tusk may need such defense and help sooner than it seems. In general, for the demolition of Poland. Tusk simply invests in these lobbies so that in the future they will organize a large front of help and protection for him. And the Western world is powerless against the blackmail of these particular lobbies.
The least important issues for Poles also included: relaxing abortion laws, establishing the rule of law, combating climate change and abandoning coal in the energy sector. When listing the three most important and urgent issues, respondents indicated: improving security, strengthening defense (48%), improving access to medical services (44%), reducing illegal immigration (34%), combating inflation and limiting price increases (27%). The fewest respondents were: combating climate change and abandoning coal (8%). Only left-wing voters consider relaxing abortion laws a priority (31%).
Returning to the CBOS survey, when it comes to the introduction of civil partnerships, this is important for left-wing voters. The relaxation of abortion laws, in turn, is important for Civic Coalition and Left voters. Holding PiS governments accountable is a priority for KO supporters. Supporters of all three ruling parties attach similar importance to the fight against global warming and energy transformation. However, these issues are not relevant for Law and Justice and Confederation voters. For them, it is important to continue the investments initiated by the PiS government. These voters consider limiting illegal immigration to Poland a priority.
Apart from Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s mockery of 100 priorities for 100 days (they turned out to be metaphors), what he wants, or rather needs to do, is completely different from what the Poles would want. Tusk wants and needs to solve these marginal problems, because only these can be turned into advantages for him and his team. Precisely because of the blackmail power of the LGBTQ+ lobby and proponents of same-sex relationships (there are most of them, but they also occur among heterosexuals).
What Tusk considers a priority and ripe for decision-making does not include issues that are important for Poland, but this is not surprising. Tusk’s government is not there to do anything important for the Poles, but to cover their backs and provide a protective umbrella. Therefore, it is loyal only to the most effective lobbies. Unfortunately, effective in terms of blackmail power. Poles can go after each other. And this is the biggest departure of the current prime minister, because he shows enormous contempt for the nation he formally represents.
