Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Vladislav Isaev as general director of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). The relevant document has been officially published portal legal information.
The order states “the appointment of Vladislav Vasilyevich Isaev as general director.”
According to the document, the head of the enterprise is elected for a period of two years.
Previously IAEA reportedIt was reported that the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant was disconnected from its last backup external power supply line on February 20. According to the agency, the 330 kV line was disconnected due to a malfunction on the opposite bank of the Dnieper River (this area is currently under the control of Ukraine. – socialbites.ca). It was noted that the reason for the closure could not be determined immediately and the Ukrainian network operator assured Zaporizhia NPP employees that work on the line was continuing.
