State Transport Leasing Company Secures 50 Billion Ruble Credit from Alfa-Bank for Domestic Equipment Purchase

According to the bank’s press service, the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) is set to receive a loan of up to 50 billion rubles from Alfa-Bank for seven years. The financing is earmarked to support the operations of a new venture focused on purchasing domestic transportation equipment in 2024, the announcement confirms.

Alfa-Bank explains that the partnership with STLC has a long track record of collaboration, extending over many years and encompassing a range of banking services. These services include investment financing and involvement in various STLC projects, underscoring a stable, ongoing relationship between the lender and the leasing company.

In a prior report, it was noted that the first eight MTK-status businesses were granted privileged loans at an annual rate of 3 percent.
