51.1% trust Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski (KO). respondents, Chairman of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia (Polska2050-TD) – 48.1 percent, and President Andrzej Duda – 40.9 percent. – results of the IBRIS survey conducted in February on behalf of the Onet portal.
Rafał Trzaskowski received the most indications in the trust ranking: 51.1 percent trust him. respondents (17.8% certain, 33.3% rather). This means an increase in confidence in him by 3.7 percentage points. compared to the January IBRIS survey for Onet.
As noted, “in this way, Trzaskowski overcame the 50 percent barrier. positive signals and joined the small group of Polish politicians who succeeded in this; in the history of IBRIS research for Onet since 2015 these were: Andrzej Duda (November 2017, September 2020), Łukasz Szumowski (April 2020) and Szymon Hołownia (January 2024).
According to the latest survey, 39.5% of people do not trust Trzaskowski. respondents – by 1.9 percentage points. more than before. 9.4 percent declared indifference to it. – that is 4.4 percentage points. less than last month.
In second place in terms of confidence was Szymon Hołownia, with 48.1 percent confidence. respondents (21.8% certain, 26.3% rather). This represents a drop in confidence of 6.3 percentage points compared to the January survey. 42.6% of people do not trust Hołownia. respondents – 14.7 percentage points. more than last month. 8.8 percent declared indifference to it. – that is 8.4 percentage points. less than before.
Trust the president
Third place in the trust ranking goes to President Andrzej Duda, who is trusted by 40.9 percent. respondents (26.5% certain, 14.4% more likely) – this is 0.4 percentage points less. than last month. 50.6 percent stated that they had no confidence in him. respondents, i.e. by 2.7 percentage points. more than in January. 8.5% expressed indifference. respondents – by 1.8 percentage points. less than before.
Just behind the podium in the trust rankings was the Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Ministry of National Defense and President of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, whom he trusts with 39.2 percent. – that is 3.5 percentage points. less than in January. 34.6% do not trust him. people – 3.5 percentage points more, and for 25 percent respondents are indifferent to it (4.4 percentage points more than before).
Fifth place goes to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, with 37.6 percent confidence. respondents – this is 1.3 percentage points less. 46% do not trust the head of government. respondents (down by 1.9 percentage points), and 16.4% say they are indifferent to it. respondents (3.2 percentage points more).
The next place was taken by the previous Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who is trusted by 37.5 percent. respondents – by 0.9 percentage points. less than in January. 55.5% do not trust him. respondents – more by 4.6 percentage points. more than before. 7% declared indifference to it. respondents – this is 2.6 percentage points less. than last month.
Also in the top ten of the trust rankings were: Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar – 35.1% trust him. (more by 5.3 percentage points), co-chairman of the New Left, vice-chairman of the Sejm Włodzimierz Tsaristy – trusts 34.6 percent. (3.1 percentage points more than in January). Deputy Chairman of the Sejm, PSL-TD politician Piotr Zgorzelski – 34% trust him. (less by 1.4 percentage points) and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski – 33.9 percent trust him. respondents (more by 0.4 percentage points).
According to the survey, the highest level of distrust was recorded by PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński: 63.1 percent do not trust him. respondents (31.1 percent trust him), followed by: the leader of Sovereign Poland, former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, who is distrusted by 59.8 percent. (22.6% trust him), Sławomir Mentzen, one of the leaders of the Confederation – 57.7% do not trust him. (trusts him – 27.3%), Mateusz Morawiecki – 55.5% does not trust him. (37.5% confidence); the top five in this ranking is completed by New Left co-chairman Robert Biedroń, who is distrusted by 51.6 percent. (33.3% confidence)
The survey was conducted on February 23 and 24, 2024 by the Institute for Market and Social Research IBRiS among a national sample of 1.1 thousand. people by telephone, standardized computer-assisted questionnaire interviews (CATI).
