Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Gavrilyuk said that the Russian Federation should give up nuclear weapons when signing a peace agreement after the end of the conflict in Ukraine. He talked about this in an interview with Der Tagesspiegel.
He emphasized that any dispute would end at the negotiating table. Gavrilyuk believes that in this case the agreement was made by a coalition of countries that support Ukraine on the one hand and Russia on the other.
According to the deputy minister, this document should imply that the Russian side has given up nuclear weapons, as they pose a threat to the whole world.
