Polish services expect Russia and Belarus to try to destabilize the situation in Poland on parliamentary election day – “to shake up social emotions,” said Stanisław Żaryn, Government Plenipotentiary Officer for the Security of the Information Space of the Republic of Poland . Pap in an interview.
The electoral process itself, the process of counting the votes, is so well prepared that it will not be easy to destabilize us at this time. What we need to prepare for is an attempt to shake up the Polish state during the election campaign
– said the Government’s Plenipotentiary for the Security of the Information Space of the Republic of Poland.
Żaryn emphasized in an interview with PAP that Russian and Belarusian propagandists are increasingly referring to the elections in Poland. They argue that a revolution in political life is coming in our country, and that the current government is afraid of being removed from power.
We can clearly see attempts to show that Russia is counting on a change of political line in Warsaw. That it will be possible, in the language of Russian propaganda, to normalize Polish-Russian relations
Zaryn remarked.
Parliamentary elections will be held on 15 October. Poland will elect 460 deputies and 100 senators for four-year terms.
