President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak are the leaders of the August CBOS politician confidence ranking. The worst balance between trust and mistrust – as reported by CBOS – is currently held by the leader of the PO, Donald Tusk.
According to the survey, the mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, enjoys the highest confidence among opposition representatives.
In August, compared to July, the percentage of people expressing confidence increased, and the number of groups expressing distrust of all United Right politicians included in both surveys decreased. The opposite phenomenon, i.e. an increase in the groups of respondents expressing distrust and a simultaneous decrease in the percentage expressing confidence, occurred in the case of opposition politicians, regardless of the options they represented.

In August, just like the month before, President Andrzej Duda tops the ranking of trust in politicians. 54% of the respondents expressed their confidence in him. respondents, and distrust 35 percent. The percentage of indications of confidence in the president increased by 8 percentage points compared to July, while statements of no confidence fell by 7 percentage points.
Second place in the poll was taken by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who is trusted by 43 percent. respondents, while 44% of respondents express distrust towards him. However, with regard to the head of government, CBOS noted the most significant positive changes in public perception: an 8 percentage point increase in declarations of confidence. and a 9-point drop in confidence statements – compared to a month ago survey.
The third place in the ranking was taken in August by the head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak, who was trusted by 39 percent of respondents. respondents, and distrust 34 percent.
Then – after 38 percent. respondents declare confidence – CBOS noted in the case of the mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski and the deputy prime minister, PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński. In the case of Trzaskowski, 42% of the respondents declared distrust. respondents, and in the case of Kaczyński – 50 percent.
However, different trends were noted for these politicians than in the July survey. In the case of Trzaskowski, indications of confidence fell by 7 percentage points, while distrust rose by 5 percentage points. On the other hand, indications of confidence regarding Kaczyński have increased by 7 percentage points and mistrust has decreased by 9 percentage points.
Among other party leaders, Szymon Hołownia from Poland 2050 scored 33 percent in the poll. trust and 42 percent distrust; Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro of Sovereign Poland 31 percent. confidence and 50 percent lack of confidence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz from PSL 29 percent. trust and 32 percent mistrust.
In the case of PO leader Donald Tusk, 27 percent of respondents expressed confidence in him. respondents, and distrust twice as many: 54 percent. Compared to July, confidence in this politician fell by 7 percentage points, while signals of distrust increased by 2 percentage points.
The survey also involved two leaders of the left: Włodzimierz Czarzasty (22% trust with 31% distrust) and Adrian Zandberg (18% trust with 21% distrust). In turn, the leader of the Confederation Sławomir Mentzen (13 percent trust with 30 percent distrust). In the case of the last two politicians, many respondents stated that they did not know them: 46 percent. against Zandberg and 44 percent. towards Mentz.
Almost half of the respondents (49 percent) did not know the Minister of Agriculture, Robert Telus (21 percent trust and 18 percent distrust). The survey also involved ministers from: Social Policy and Family Marlena Maląg (28% Trust and 17% Mistrust), Jacek Sasin (26% Trust and 43% Mistrust), Mariusz Kamiński (24% Mistrust) and Mariusz Kamiński (24 % distrust trust and 29% distrust).
Confidence in the Marshal of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek, was 35 percent. respondents, and distrust 31 percent. In turn, the Marshal of the Senate, Tomasz Grodzki, enjoys the confidence of 22 percent. of those surveyed, while 37 percent distrust it. early.
Poles invariably have a very critical attitude towards the political class. In August, as in previous polls, the majority of politicians who participated in the survey are more likely to inspire distrust than trust among respondents. This month, five of the 18 people included in the study are an exception

The president with the best score
Of these five, President Andrzej Duda is the best when it comes to the balance between trust and mistrust. A positive balance of positive indications was also registered by Ministers Maląg, Błaszczak, Telus and Marshal Witek.
The study was conducted as part of the mixed-mode procedure on a representative sample of adult residents of Poland, taken from the PESEL registry, from August 14 to 27 this year. on a sample of 1024 people.
