The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation described the news of the Polish media and officials about the crash of a missile allegedly belonging to Russia as a “provocation”. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“The statements of the Polish media and authorities about the alleged crash of “Russian” missiles in the Przewoduv settlement are a deliberate provocation to escalate the situation,” the report said.
The military department claims that the Russian army did not carry out any attacks on targets close to the Ukrainian-Polish state border.
The Russian Ministry of Defense added, “The fragments that the Polish media published with hot following from the scene in the village of Przewoduv have nothing to do with Russian weapons.”

Polish radio ZET reported that on Tuesday evening, November 15, two rockets fell on Lublin Voivodeship in the east of the country, not far from the Ukrainian border.

Tallinn and Vilnius’ response
The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs promptly responded to media reports of the alleged explosion of a Russian rocket in Poland.
“The latest news from Poland is the biggest concern. We are in close consultation with Poland and other allies. Estonia is ready to defend every inch of NATO territory. “We are in full solidarity with our close ally, Poland,” the ministry said.
Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks said it was Russian officials who fired the missiles.
“Latvia fully supports our Polish friends and condemns this crime,” said a Latvian official.
Pabriks also called for the closure and defense of airspace over Ukraine by NATO forces.
