I am one of the people who don’t really like to communicate with doctors. I think mostly. As they say, I go when I plan “Burns” and only with familiar doctors.
I don’t like I don’t like it. First, insecurity: a few years ago, until I guessed that it was ordinary dynamo, I spent a month for endless campaigns in various experts as part of the working VHI. The clinic is useful for me to do as many exams as possible, so they drive me “around the stations ,, they create a picture of the apocalypse in my head at the same time: this month, I made a few diagnoses that I couldn’t work, but I was just done to get out of bed in the morning.
The second reason I avoid communicating with doctors you don’t know is that I cannot agree with their communication styles.
The Soviet Union has been in the past for a long time in the past, but in the field of medicine, especially free, very little has changed over the years. This is a famous attraction to a person in a plural in a tone that is often irritated and often irritated: “Thus, we quickly remove the pants, lift them, sheet aprons, we reach out!” I’m alone, Hello, Mary Ivanna! Neither “Hello”, nor “Goodbye”, of course, see what you want. Here, this eternal Soviet classic in the series “Most of you and I am one”, which is expressed by infinite irritation with the truth of your existence.
In normal case, of course, you can politely make a statement. But when something hurts you, then there is no power for it. You can sit for hours and wait until the doctor accepts you, and this is probably normal given the shortage of experts and the number of pain. But God forbids working very politely and shyly after an hour of seizure to ask how God will be done and how long to wait. Immediately, as a devil from there, an angry woman jumps out of there and shouts: “Don’t interfere with work!” – The door hit closes in front of your unfortunate nose. It continues to be quiet and is tolerated that Mary Ivanna, a bad -famous Mary, does not accidentally (or deliberately) makes you more painful.
Yes, I understand everything, there is no one to work, they pay less, people get tired. But you know? So you can find an excuse for any clue.
What you say is no need to save health, would you like to be free and even polite? So it doesn’t work, cook money. For this reason. In paid clinics with doctors you do not know, you may not always feel safe. Yeah, he’s not hiding on you. Have you seen the prices of medical services lately? It would be strange for someone to raise their voice.
In such places, you understand what the phrase “polite rude means. Did you hear this? This is when a person does not insult directly, but he talks to you, so you would like to stop communication as soon as possible. For example, I have recently been in a super-modern hospital in an examination. I will not squeeze you with medical details. Let’s say, after a blood test, it turned out that one of the indicators had deviations. A woman I saw for the first time in my life came. Why do you think he started talking? Maybe who he is, what he did, what is the level of his qualifications? And from now on, did I go to the respectful debate of the problem? Oh, as they say, three times.
“Soooo, why are you watching your health so bad?” – He immediately went with Trump cards and even in a slightly increasing tone. I mean, he still didn’t even have time to get to know me, but he’s already drew the consequences that I was a branch man. And not only did it produce conclusions, but also decided to share them with me. Of course, after such a beginning, I immediately flew like a balloon. I felt like a small and vulnerable baby reported by a tight teacher. In response, I started muttering something, but then I still came to my senses. Right, on the street anyway.
Did I ask him this? I am an adult woman, I follow my health better than some, and I usually don’t need her opinion. Actually, I didn’t even come to him. All this, of course I can answer him, but he surprised me. Imagine that there is a kind of nonsense only with analyzes, but also a kind of alien aunt teaches you life. In general, from there, of course I left and I didn’t come back anymore. I solved my problem anywhere else: there, “you didn’t have many, but I am one” but at least nobody read it – and thank you for that.
I have a doubt that women in our medical institutions are more rude than men thanks to their gender imbalance. Maybe I’m not right, I haven’t interviewed the familiar men, but something tells me that everything can be a little different to them, especially for those who are younger: Doctors take their grandfather to the tail and vest.
It is a big question whether the “Soviet” attitude towards people will change in our medicine. I have hope. Nevertheless, a qualitative leap occurred in the service sector. It is now difficult to imagine that you are overwhelmed everywhere in a store or restaurant, and in general, where the communication between people is assumed. It is clear that the comparison is difficult, it is clear that one side (the patient) is in a weak position and that the latter (nurse, doctor) in a strong position is clearly condemned to some inequality, but at least we are people who will try.
