The Valencia ITV Society has introduced a new online appointment platform for vehicle inspections, marking a milestone in the region’s public service delivery. The digital tool enables preliminary booking for vehicle inspections across the Valencian Community and is accessible on mobile devices via the Sitval link. Users can select a preferred ITV station and reserve a day and time, with hours from 08:00 to 19:30, Monday through Saturday, after completing a form with personal and vehicle details necessary for the inspection.
The new system represents another step toward a more direct, higher quality, efficient, competitive, and transparent management of the ITV public service. It aligns with the Sustainable Economy, Productive Industries, the Ministry of Trade and Labor, and the public society, contributing to a streamlined process for citizens in Valencia.
A roadmap has been defined, and the platform is seen as a further advance that ensures residents receive this essential public service in the Valencian Community.
Sitval consolidates what was previously spread across seven different websites into a single tool, simplifying the appointment process for ITV stations across the network.
In the first phase, the new tool will run alongside Circuititv.com and itebasa.com. The service will continue to operate in those channels until the end of March, after which online appointments will be possible exclusively through Sitval.
Circuititv.com currently offers services for Alcoy, Alzira, Gandia, Ondara, Ontinyent, Xàtiva, and mobile units for agricultural vehicles and mopeds, as well as mobile units for Teulada, Benissa, Ibi, Castalla, Cullera, Swedish, Alginet, Quesa, and Jávea.
Itabasa.com, meanwhile, enables appointment requests at Redován, Villena, and mobile units for light vehicles in Novelda, Monóvar, Elda, and Pinoso, along with mobile units for agricultural vehicles and mopeds.
New corporate image
The Valencian ITV SA has unveiled a refreshed brand and corporate image designed to help users recognize the public ITV services across the Valencian Community. The brand, developed by Gimeno Gràfic, is tied to Sitval and reflects the goals of the newly public company: improving management and efficiency of ITV services for residents.
The result is a strong brand that communicates speed, efficiency, and quality, while presenting a modern and meticulous character. The new image will coexist with the ITV state logo, which will continue to appear at Valencia stations.
Visually, the new branding closely reflects the mechanical world and engine-related activities. Typography has been customized, making it harder to forge ITV stamps and certificates and thereby enhancing the security of official documents.
An economy-driven mandate urges ITV to schedule appointments by June 30
Blue remains a defining element in the color palette, rooted in ITV’s collective memory yet deepened to convey solidity. Green provides a counterpoint, symbolizing innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainability, as well as the positive associations of health, balance, and development.
The circular emblem used in the branding echoes ITV’s field of activity, with internal shapes representing vehicle mechanisms and inspection cycles moving upward to convey dynamism. The design choices aim to balance momentum with recognizable, trusted visuals while reinforcing the public nature of the service.
