Dialsur has renewed its Torrevieja Cash & Carry, betting on a more modern, efficient center with expanded areas, a broader product range, better equipment, and improved service delivery.

The announcement was made in a single day, welcoming the managers of Musgrave Spain, a food distribution company that operates under the brands Dialprix, Dicost, and Cash&Carry Dialsur, with the participation of Torrevieja mayor Eduardo Dolón, the Undersecretary of Commerce Rosario Martínez, and representatives from suppliers, customers, and the Torrevieja and Region Accommodation Businesses Association, among others.

Luis López, managing director of Musgrave Spain, described the effort as built on four pillars: the right product assortment and the development of new references, the best possible service, an intensive training plan, and a significant investment in the team working with customers. The project includes a commitment of 450,000 euros to create a more convenient and comfortable establishment.

Among the improvements, more than 600 accommodation products stand out.

Pablo García de Ceca, director of the wholesale line, stated that Musgrave Spain remains committed to the local market and to the company’s continuous improvement plan, listening to customers to grow together.

Torrevieja mayor Eduardo Dolón expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized that the priority is growth and development, noting the creation of new jobs and the city council’s role in laying foundations for local development.

New areas have been created to enhance customer comfort.

In a 2,000 m2 wholesale facility, the sales area highlights include more than 600 accommodation products and the continued emphasis on value through the “saving product,” part of a portfolio that features 6,000 national and international references. Customers can save up to 40 percent on purchases.

New areas have been introduced to improve customer comfort, such as self-service delis and bazaar spaces. The frozen foods range has expanded, and customer service has been enhanced to serve professional buyers better and provide a superior shopping experience.

Sustainability and efficiency

As part of the renovation, Dialsur Torrevieja has installed energy-efficient systems, including LED lighting to optimize consumption and support environmental awareness. Cold-wall doors help maintain temperatures and preserve product quality. Additionally, 125 solar panels, with a capacity of 660 watts each, promise annual production of about 130,000 kilowatt-hours, equivalent to the energy used by roughly 75 homes.

Another major focus is delivery service improvement. The reach now extends beyond Torrevieja to surrounding areas, with a service schedule from Monday to Saturday and personalized service during business hours.

Beside these innovations, Cash & Carry Dialsur highlights the brand’s strengths: product quality and freshness, a skilled butcher shop with on-site cutting services, attentive staff, and a spacious wine cellar featuring wines with tasting notes that showcase their unique character.
